Greetings
Clinical Laboratory Examination Center strives to report test results that comply with international standards (ISO15189) quickly and accurately. For specimen testing, we are promoting testing by introducing new testing equipment so that we can measure a wide range of test items in-house. For physiological testing, we receive guidance from nine specialists from each department and conduct tests that comply with the latest guidelines and medical practices. For infectious disease testing, we work in collaboration with the hospital's infection control office to maintain a testing system that can flexibly respond to emerging infectious diseases such as coronaviruses.
Clinical Laboratory Examination Center aims to provide compassionate testing that meets the needs of each and every patient who visits our hospital. We are also preparing to contribute in the future to the development of new clinical tests and the creation of sample banks that are tailored to the characteristics of university hospitals. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.

At Clinical Laboratory Examination Center, specimen tests such as blood tests, urine tests, and bacteriological tests are performed, as well as physiological function tests such as electrocardiograms, ultrasound, electroencephalograms, electromyograms, and respiratory function tests.By providing the test results obtained promptly and appropriately to each department, we are managing the system and creating an environment that allows us to provide high-quality, safe medical care to patients.
The Laboratory Testing Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including nights and holidays, and the Physiological Testing Department also has an enhanced emergency testing system. Clinical testing, including coronavirus antigen and PCR tests, is also conducted in close cooperation with the Infection Control Office, proactively accepting severely ill patients from Kanagawa Prefecture and neighboring prefectures and responding to clusters. A robust testing system has been established across the entire center to ensure that the information necessary for patient care throughout the hospital is always provided appropriately.
