Greetings
Perioperative Care Center opened in April 2025. Until now, patients have had to visit the hospital for various procedures, such as tests, explanations, and consent forms, which placed a significant burden on them. However, Perioperative Care Center will centralize and systematically perform these procedures, reducing the number of hospital visits and easing the burden on society. Furthermore, multidisciplinary interventions prior to hospitalization will address patients' psychological and social anxieties, helping them to return to society more quickly. We will continue to listen to patient feedback in order to improve the operation of the Perioperative Management Center. We would appreciate it if you could let us know any feedback or areas you would like to see improved.

Overview
We provide support for patients undergoing surgery from before surgery through to after surgery and discharge. We focus on reducing the burden on patients by centralizing pre-admission tests, hospitalization explanations, and obtaining consent forms. We will also proactively intervene through interviews to address any anxieties or worries you may have, so please feel free to contact us.
Preoperative interview
A multidisciplinary team including Department of Anesthesiology, nurses, and pharmacists will be involved with each patient. Each team will intervene with their expertise, such as administering necessary additional tests and providing instructions on how to take oral medications, to help patients return to society as quickly as possible.
Dental and oral surgery consultations
We have newly installed dental and oral surgery examination booths exclusively for patients undergoing surgery. We provide oral care and create mouth guards for patients undergoing general anesthesia. As the oral environment plays a major role in postoperative recovery, we will actively conduct oral examinations.
Short-term hospitalization surgery
For short-term hospitalization surgeries, including same-day surgeries, we will assist you from the preoperative examination to guiding you on the day of surgery and postoperative observation, ensuring you stay safe from surgery until you return home.
Postoperative Pain Management Team
Postoperative pain can be a great burden and a source of fear for patients undergoing surgery. During postoperative rounds, a team consisting of Department of Anesthesiology, nurses, pharmacists, and medical technicians assesses the patient's level of pain and uses a variety of methods to respond.
