Creating new medicines (drug discovery) requires safety testing using animals, followed by clinical trials in which the medicine is administered directly to actual patients to examine safety and efficacy. Therefore, clinical trials cannot be carried out without the cooperation of patients, and ethical considerations and support are required to ensure that participating patients are not disadvantaged. Furthermore, conducting clinical trials fairly and scientifically requires a professional team including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and coordinators. At our hospital, a professional team works day and night at Clinical Trials and Research Center research. We hope to further develop our efforts and contribute to the advancement of clinical trials and clinical research in Japan.

Overview
Clinical Trials and Research Center is an organization that provides support for the implementation of clinical trials and clinical research.Within this organization, there are four departments that manage and support the implementation of clinical trials and clinical research: the Clinical Trial Office (clinical trial office duties), the Clinical Research Promotion Office (clinical research office duties), the Clinical Trial Implementation Office (clinical research coordination duties), and the Clinical Trial and Clinical Research Planning Office (clinical research management duties).
Clinical Trials and Research Center 's motto is "to deliver better treatments to patients as soon as possible," and we prioritize the human rights and safety of subjects, supporting the implementation of scientifically based clinical trials and clinical research.
